Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a martial art and fighting technique that is designed to help people of any size defend themselves, It’s also a terrific way to tone and firm your body and reap the health benefits of martial arts.
These classes are suitable for all levels, we have beginners, MMA fighters and world champion competitors attending these classes. ages 14+
CHILDREN'S CLASS
Our children's classes are aimed at children aged 5-13 years old, we believe to engage children with jiu jitsu requires fun and games based around grappling and competition to build the base and get to the more profound skills of discipline, control, fitness and technical knowledge.
Early experience with the physical and mental demands of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu helps a child's development and growth into a healthy young person, both in mind and body.
The truth is, as parents one of worst nightmares is to find out that are child is being bullied either physically or emotionally, and as we cannot be there with them 24/7, its our duty to make sure we provide them with the tools and confidence necessary to protect themselves, BJJ is by far the best Martial art in the world for self defence and ultimately, confidence.
Wrestling based mat games are a large part of these classes teaching basic grappling skills, control of their own body, and that of others, whilst building athleticism, fitness, strength and technical ability.
